What you get
Most businesses that have grown past a handful of people run on a system nobody designed. It lives in people's heads, in a spreadsheet with eleven tabs, and in the email thread where the real decision got made. It works, mostly. It also leaks: time, money, and the patience of the one person who knows how it all connects.
An Enterprise X-ray makes that system visible, quickly, and then helps you fix it. You get:
- A map of how work actually flows through your business: the hand-offs, the workarounds, and who knows what.
- A prioritized, priced list of about fifty improvements, each sized by what it's worth to you in a year.
- The top three, already done. Small AI fixes, connectors, scripts, or a written procedure, working before we leave.
- If you want it, the method. We teach one of your people to keep doing this, every month, with their own AI assistant.
Pilot season. I'm doing the first few full engagements (the Action Map, top three fixes included) for free. The price is a frank, honest debrief afterwards: about 45 minutes on what was worth it, what wasn't, and what you'd have paid. Ask for a pilot on the form.
Five steps. Stop after any of them.
Each step is useful on its own, and each is the natural doorway to the next. Fixed prices, agreed before we start.

The X-ray
You spend ten minutes telling my form about your business and where work gets stuck. You give me your domain, and I read your public site to guess how work flows inside. Two business days later you get a 30-minute read: what we think your business looks like from the inside, where it's probably leaking, and three to five things worth a closer look. Some of it will be wrong, usefully.

The Map
Deeper, and quicker than you'd expect. Three one-hour conversations with the people who really know how things work. Two of us ask the questions; our AI agents follow a live transcript and suggest the next question while your expert is still talking. Each hour's findings shape the next hour. You get the map: flows, hand-offs, single points of failure. Visibility, not yet solutions.

The Action Map
The Map, plus what to do about it: a prioritized list of around fifty improvements, each with an estimate of its yearly effect and a price to fix. The bar is roughly $10,000 a year or more. The top three are done before we hand it over.

Fixes
Anything else on the Action Map, at the price printed next to it. We build it for you, or build it alongside the person who'll own it.

Keep Going
This is the part I care most about. The method isn't magic; it's a way of working with an AI assistant. We teach one of your people to run it themselves: interview, map, pick, fix, every week or every month. After that you don't need us, which is the point.
Why it's quick
Two experienced people and two AI agents in one conversation. The agents keep up with everything said, draft the next questions, and never get tired of detail. An hour with your best expert turns into far more than an hour of notes.
We found this almost by accident: this September, a colleague and I spent two hours this way with a standards expert. Afterwards we both said the same thing: that was worth thousands of dollars an hour.
Why it's safe
Your information stays with the engagement. Nothing you tell us is used for anyone else's work or published anywhere. Our AI works under written rules about what it may and may not do, and a person checks every page before you see it. Ask me about any of it; I'm happy to show you how.
Who it's for
Businesses of roughly 10 to 250 people, where the person who can say yes is one or two conversations away. Industry matters less than you'd think. If you've heard yourself say "only Dana knows how that works" or "we manage that in a spreadsheet, and it's painful," this is for you.
Not a business owner? If this made you think of someone, send them here. The X-ray is free and useful whether or not they ever hire me.
Who I am
I'm Pete Kaminski. I've been building and explaining internet technology since before the web had pictures: co-founder of Socialtext, decades of helping organizations think clearly about their tools, and the last few years working hands-on with AI agents every day. I've built working business tools with AI in days that would have taken months, and I've seen exactly where that goes wrong without experienced judgment in the loop. That judgment is what you're hiring. For the Map and beyond, I usually bring a second experienced consultant, with their own agent.
The free X-ray
Ten minutes. Best guesses are fine.
Don't look anything up. Your first answer is more useful than a researched one, and "I don't know" is a real answer. Within two business days you'll get your X-ray by email.
